Events
Beekeeping and Birdwatching along the Colorado
Join us at Lone Oak Farm in Smithville, TX, on June 27th from 10am - 2pm for a beginner's beekeeping course along the Colorado River. This hands-on session will prepare you for your first hive and introduce you to the essential agricultural products related to beekeeping!
After the class, enjoy lunch and explore the farm for its flora, fauna, and a riverside escape from the city. Don’t forget to visit our farm store, where you can learn more at your own pace about the wildlife habitat and soil conservation we do, and new farmer development activities at Lone Oak Farm.
